I, the undersigned member, understand and agree to the following terms regarding the use of the gym during unstaffed hours:

Eligibility for Unstaffed Access
I understand that self-access is available exclusively to Barbell members.
Other members may only train when staff are present, unless otherwise agreed in writing by the gym owner.

Unstaffed Hours and Circumstances
I acknowledge that unstaffed use may occur:

During specific Barbell membership self-access hours;

Occasionally during open gym if a coach steps away briefly;

Or in the event of unforeseen circumstances where staff are temporarily unavailable.

I accept that at these times, no coach or staff member may be on-site, and I am responsible for my own safety and conduct.

Voluntary Participation
I choose to access and use the gym during unstaffed hours voluntarily and at my own risk.

Assumption of Risk
I understand that training without staff supervision involves potential risks, including injury or, in rare cases, death. I accept full responsibility for my safety and for assessing whether I am physically and mentally fit to exercise alone.

No Supervision or Assistance
I acknowledge that there will be no coach or staff present during unstaffed hours. I agree that I am competent and capable of training safely and responsibly without supervision.

Equipment Use
I will use all gym equipment properly, as instructed during staffed sessions or inductions. I will immediately report any faulty or damaged equipment to the gym owner.

Safety and Conduct

I will not allow entry to any non-members.

I will train in a safe and respectful manner.

I will not perform dangerous lifts or exercises that require spotting unless I have appropriate safety measures in place (e.g. safety bars).

I will ensure emergency exits remain clear and accessible.

Emergency Procedures
I have been shown the location of emergency exits, first aid kits, and contact procedures in case of an emergency.
In the event of an accident or injury, I will immediately contact emergency services and inform the gym owner.

Waiver of Liability
I agree that Arc House / it's owner and staff are not responsible for any injury, loss, or damage that may occur while using the facility during unstaffed hours.
I release and discharge Arc House / it's owner and staff, from all claims arising from my participation in unstaffed use.

CCTV and Security
I understand that CCTV may be in operation for security and safety purposes. My entry and activity may be recorded.

I, the undersigned, being aware of my own health and physical condition, and having knowledge that my participation in any physical activity has risk of injury, am voluntary participating in a physical activity.

Having such knowledge, I accept full responsibility for my health and well-being in these voluntary exercise classes. I understand that should I feel lightheaded, faint, dizzy, nauseated, or experience pain or discomfort, it is my responsibility to immediately stop the activity and inform the Trainer.

I hearby acknowledge this release from liability for accidental injury or illness which I may incur as a result of participating in the said physical activity.
