EDC Performance LTD - EDC Waiver

I understand that participating in CrossFit, functional fitness, strength and conditioning, HYROX-style training, weightlifting, gymnastics, running, rowing, cycling and other physical exercise involves inherent risks.

These risks may include, but are not limited to, muscular strains, sprains, fractures, falls, collisions, cardiovascular events and other injuries which may, in rare circumstances, be serious.

I confirm that I am participating voluntarily and accept responsibility for deciding whether I am physically capable of taking part in the activities provided by EDC Performance LTD.
I understand that it is my responsibility to inform the coach before training of any injury, illness, medical condition, medication, pregnancy, disability or other factor that may affect my ability to exercise safely.

I agree to follow reasonable instructions given by EDC coaches and understand that exercises may be scaled or modified according to my ability, experience or physical limitations.

If I feel pain, dizziness, unusual shortness of breath, faintness or otherwise feel unwell during training, I agree to stop exercising and inform a coach immediately.

I understand that EDC Performance LTD, its directors, coaches, staff and contractors cannot eliminate all of the risks associated with physical exercise. I voluntarily accept the normal and inherent risks associated with taking part.

I acknowledge that EDC Performance LTD recommends seeking advice from a medical professional before beginning or continuing an exercise programme where I have any concerns regarding my health or ability to exercise.

I agree to take reasonable care of gym equipment, facilities and the property of others while on the premises.

I understand that photographs and videos may occasionally be taken during classes or events for legitimate gym promotional purposes. Where applicable, I may inform EDC Performance LTD if I do not wish identifiable images of me to be used.

I acknowledge that my membership is also subject to the current EDC Performance LTD membership terms and conditions, including the applicable cancellation, suspension and membership policies.

By accepting this document, I confirm that the information I have provided is accurate to the best of my knowledge and that I have read and understood this waiver.

I understand that EDC Performance LTD requires 60 days’ written notice to cancel my membership.

I understand that late cancellation of a booked class may result in an automatic £2 charge.

I understand that failing to attend a booked class without cancelling may result in an automatic £2 no-show charge.

I understand that membership holds are available free of charge for 1–3 months, with a maximum of one hold permitted in any rolling 12-month period.

I confirm that I have read and understood this waiver, answered the health questions accurately, and agree to the terms, policies and conditions set out above. I understand that by accepting this document I am agreeing to participate in training subject to these terms.
