CROSSFIT HENLEAZE AND CROSSFIT TRYM TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Please read these terms carefully before you submit your order to us. These terms tell you who we are, how we will provide services to you, what to do if there is a problem and other important information.
Key Terms and Conditions:
Memberships. We have different options for memberships as detailed on our websites www.crossfithenleaze.co.uk and www.crossfittrym.co.uk. These include memberships for Adults, Teens, Kids, Never Too Old and Parent-Baby. Adult memberships have a one month rolling contract. Teens, Kids, Never Too Old and Parent-Baby classes are booked in blocks of ten classes.
Membership fees. Membership fees are payable according to the membership type selected. By paying the membership fees, you agree to abide by all the terms and conditions. On payment of membership fees, a member is entitled to use CrossFit Henleaze and/or CrossFit Trym facilities with frequency of use relating to the membership type.
Changes to membership type. Membership upgrades can take place immediately. Membership downgrades require 30 days’ notice.
Payment. The first membership payment shall be payable on signup and shall be a proportion of the monthly fee depending on the number of days remaining in the month. Subsequent payments shall be payable on the first of each month. Monthly Direct Debits and Recurring Card Payments are a full binding contract between CrossFit Henleaze / CrossFit Trym and the member and will automatically continue until CrossFit Henleaze / CrossFit Trym is notified otherwise.
Onboarding. Adult members must complete a course of onboarding session/s depending on experience before they can commence classes. There is a fee for these sessions which is set out on our website and payable in advance.
Registration. All membership forms, waivers and registration details must be completed via WodBoard before classes can be booked. This includes any medical information we need to be aware of and permission for emergency medical treatment. These details should be updated if there are any changes. We reserve the right to reject an application for membership, or refuse admission.
Use of CrossFit Henleaze and CrossFit Trym. A member is entitled to use CrossFit Henleaze’s and/or CrossFit Trym's facilities for classes and services providing always that we may at any time withdraw all or part of our facilities for any period or periods and with notice, where practicable, in connection with any cleaning, repair, alteration, maintenance or security work, other work or for reasons beyond the control of CrossFit Henleaze / CrossFit Trym.
Booking classes: Class places are booked through our booking provider WodBoard which you will need to sign up to and create a personal login. Classes can be booked seven days in advance. All bookings are confirmed by WodBoard at the time the booking is made. If the information contained in the confirmation of booking is incorrect in any way, please contact us at info@crossfithenleaze.co.uk / info@crossfittrym.co.uk.
Content of classes: A wide variety of exercise activities will be provided and the content of the classes can be viewed in advance on WodBoard. By agreeing to be bound by these terms and conditions you consent to taking part in any activities. You acknowledge that while CrossFit Henleaze and CrossFit Trym staff will provide appropriate coaching, the risk of injury cannot be eliminated. CrossFit Henleaze's / CrossFit Trym's waiver must be completed by all members. Members should also ensure that appropriate clothing is worn to classes.
Waitlist for classes. If the session requested is fully booked you will be added to a waiting list. When a space becomes available, you will notified by WodBoard to confirm that a space is available to book in for the session requested.
Age restrictions. Adult members must be 18 or over to purchase a full membership. Our teen classes are available for 12 to 17 year olds and Kids classes are available for 6 to 11 year olds.
Discounts. We offer the following discounts:
10% discount for 6 months paid up front.
15% discount for 12 months paid up front.
10% discount for family members in the same household on all memberships.
What to do if you think you have been charged incorrectly. If you think you have been charged incorrectly please contact us promptly to let us know at info@crossfithenleaze.co.uk / info@crossfittrym.co.uk.
Cancelling classes. Classes can be cancelled up to 24 hours before the class. If a class is cancelled after this time, we reserve the right to deduct a session.
Cancelling memberships. To cancel your membership you must give us at least 30 days’ written notice. We are not liable to refund any monies should the receipt of cancellation not be received in accordance with this clause.
Putting memberships on hold. You may, for periods of one calendar month or longer, “put on hold” your membership. The request to place your membership on hold must be made in writing to info@crossfithenleaze.co.uk / info@crossfittrym.co.uk and must be made a minimum of 30 days in advance of the intention to change the membership to ‘on hold’. There can be no retrospective holds. No end date is required, and memberships may be upgraded from ‘on hold’ to any full membership with immediate effect, anytime during the ‘on hold’ period.
Cancellation of classes by us. If we are required to cancel classes for any reason, we will provide as much notice as possible by email/text/via WodBoard and a full refund of the sessions will be provided.
Covid restrictions. In the event that government restrictions are put in place governing gym activities, or we consider that restrictions are required in light of external factors, we reserve the right to make changes to classes, including more frequent cleaning of equipment by members, smaller class sizes, social distancing in classes, remote classes and other similar measures.
Lost Property. Property stored at CrossFit Henleaze and CrossFit Trym is stored at the owner’s risk and no liability for its loss or damage will be accepted by us. We will endeavour to return items on request. We will keep unclaimed lost property for a period of eight weeks, after which, we will distribute the lost property to local charities.
Use of photos and videos on social media. From time to time we may take photographs or videos which may be used for marketing and promotional purposes. Please complete the photo and video consent form on your initial booking to confirm whether you consent to this practice.

Who we are. We are Turpin Fitness CF Limited trading as CrossFit Henleaze ('CrossFit Henleaze', 'us', 'we') a company registered in England and Wales. Our company registration number is 12497321 and our registered office is at 1 Duckett Fields, Henleaze, Bristol, BS9 4DJ, and Turpin Fitness Limited trading as CrossFit Trym ('CrossFit Trym', 'us', 'we') a company registered in England and Wales. Our company registration number is 10732583 and our registered office is at 1 Duckett Fields, Henleaze, Bristol, BS9 4DJ.

How we may contact you. If we have to contact you we will do so by telephone, by writing to you at the email address you provided to us in your order or by WodBoard.
Changes to these terms and conditions. We may change these terms and conditions from time to time. We will display the latest version on WodBoard.
Changes to Class Schedule. Wherever possible, we will endeavour to provide as much notice as possible of a change to the class schedule.
Changes to fees: Membership fees may be altered at any time (with as much advance notice as possible). Notifications will be via email or WodBoard.
Observing our rules. Members must at all times observe the membership rules and gym rules, and comply with any reasonable directions which the owner or coach may give.
Member’s default. Default includes a failure to comply with any of our terms and conditions, including, but not limited to, the obligation to make any payment due. Upon default, CrossFit Henleaze / CrossFit Trym shall have all rights and remedies available, including termination of this agreement and institution of an action for all applicable damages.
Refusing admission. We reserve the right to refuse admission and/or to expel or suspend any member if any member shall, in the opinion of the owners and coaches, cause nuisance or annoyance to the other gym members or guests; and for any breach of our rules or misuse of gym facilities, or for any other reason which we may deem appropriate.
Accidents. We cannot accept any liability for any accident to any member or guest that may occur on the premises other than where this is due to negligence of CrossFit Henleaze / CrossFit Trym, their staff or agents. Any member who suffers an accident on the premises must report the accident, and the circumstances under which it occurred, to a staff member immediately following the accident.
Social Activities. We reserve the right at any time to set aside facilities for exhibitions or other social activities. We shall endeavour to give as much notice as possible.
Fire Emergency plan. In the event of a fire, members are asked to make their way in an orderly fashion to the nearest available exit and convene outside of the premises. There are fire extinguishers located in key risk areas within the gyms should it be necessary to combat flames.
Medical Emergency plan. In the event of a medical emergency the first aider on duty will assess the medical need and provide treatment and call for help.
How we will use your personal information. We will use the personal information you provide to us to provide the services, process your payment for such services, and if you agreed to this during the membership sign-up process, to inform you about similar products that we provide, but you may stop receiving these communications at any time by contacting us. We may also collect, store and use more sensitive types of personal information including details about medical conditions and medication that you are on.
We will only give your personal information to third parties where the law either requires or allows us to do so.
Representations. Our website and social media describe the broad principles on which CrossFit Henleaze and CrossFit Trym operate. Although believed correct at the time of publication, the website and social media are not part of any agreement between you and CrossFit Henleaze / CrossFit Trym.
Insurance. All of our activities are covered by our Public Liability Insurance.
Policies & Procedures. Copies of CrossFit Henleaze and CrossFit Trym policies and procedures are available on request.
Complaints. We are committed to providing high quality CrossFit classes. Any question, concern or complaint about the services we provide should be notified to Adam Turpin. A copy of our complaints procedure is available on request.
Communications from parents of teens or kids. Communications or instructions from one parent or any person with parental responsibility shall be deemed to be received from both parents.
Limitation of Liability. We do not exclude or limit in any way our liability to you where it would be unlawful to do so. This includes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence or the negligence of our employees, agents or subcontractors; for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; for breach of your legal rights in relation to the services including the right to receive services which are as described and supplied with reasonable skill and care.
We may transfer this agreement to someone else. We may transfer our rights and obligations under these terms to another organisation. We will always tell you in writing if this happens. If you are unhappy with the transfer you may contact us to cancel your membership within 14 days of us telling you about it.
Nobody else has any rights under this contract. This contract is between you and us. No other person shall have any rights to enforce any of its terms.
If a court finds part of this contract illegal, the rest will continue in force. Each of the paragraphs of these terms operates separately. If any court or relevant authority decides that any of them are unlawful, the remaining paragraphs will remain in full force and effect.
Even if we delay in enforcing this contract, we can still enforce it later. If we do not insist immediately that you do anything you are required to do under these terms, or if we delay in taking steps against you, that will not mean that you do not have to do those things or prevent us taking steps against you at a later date. For example, if you miss a payment and we do not chase you but we continue to provide the sessions, we can still require you to make the payment at a later date.
Applicable law. These terms are governed by English law and you can bring legal proceedings in respect of the services in the English courts.
