Regular physical activity is fun and healthy, and increasingly more people are starting to become more active every day. Being more active is very safe for most people. However, some people should check with their doctor before they start becoming much more physically active.

Our BUMPS & BABIES programme is designed to support you through pregnancy and early motherhood - safely, confidently, and with the backing of the FORTIS community.
This short form helps us understand where you’re at so we can coach you in the best possible way.
By booking and attending a BUMPS & BABIES session at FORTIS, you confirm that you are medically fit to participate in exercise during pregnancy or the postnatal period, or have sought appropriate medical advice where necessary.
You understand that sessions will be adapted and that you will follow all coaching guidance provided.
You understand that babies are welcome within the training space and you accept full responsibility for the supervision, safety and wellbeing of your baby at all times.
You acknowledge that the session takes place in a shared training environment with equipment and movement around the space.
You understand that a play area and toys may be provided, but your baby may also remain close to you throughout the session.
If you choose to hold or carry your baby while exercising, you do so at your own discretion and risk.
You understand that FORTIS coaches are not responsible for supervising or settling babies during the session, though may occasionally assist briefly where possible.
You acknowledge that you participate at your own risk and accept full responsibility for your baby within the training space.
You understand that you should stop exercising immediately and inform a coach if you experience symptoms such as vaginal bleeding, dizziness, chest pain, unusual shortness of breath, calf pain or swelling, persistent abdominal pain or contractions, or fluid leaking.
You understand that FORTIS is not a medical provider and that all guidance is general in nature, and you agree to inform a coach immediately of any symptoms or changes to your condition.
