GYM WAIVER AND RELEASE OF LIABILITY
This Gym Waiver and Release of Liability (the "Waiver") is entered into between the undersigned participant ("Participant") and CrossFit Paratus (the "Gym").
1. Assumption of Risk:
I understand that the activities I will engage in during gym hours at CrossFit Paratus involve inherent risks, including but not limited to the risk of injury, illness, and the potential for serious bodily harm. I acknowledge that I am voluntarily participating in these activities with knowledge of the dangers involved and hereby agree to accept and assume any and all risks associated with my participation.
2. Release and Waiver:
In consideration for being permitted to use the facilities and equipment at CrossFit Paratus during gym hours, I, on behalf of myself, my heirs, executors, administrators, and assigns, hereby release, discharge, and hold harmless CrossFit Paratus, its owners, operators, employees, agents, and representatives from any and all claims, liabilities, actions, damages, costs, or expenses of any kind arising out of or related to my use of the gym facilities.
3. Responsibility for Personal Safety:
I acknowledge that open gym hours are not coach-led, and I am solely responsible for my personal safety. I agree to exercise caution, follow all posted rules and guidelines, and use equipment properly. I understand that failure to do so may increase the risk of injury.
4. Maintenance of Cleanliness:
I agree to keep the gym tidy, put away equipment after use, and ensure that the gym is left in a clean and orderly state. I understand that failure to maintain cleanliness may result in restricted access or additional charges for cleaning expenses.
5. Medical Clearance:
I affirm that I am in good physical condition and have no medical or health-related conditions that would prevent or limit my participation in the activities at CrossFit Paratus. I understand that it is my responsibility to obtain medical clearance from a qualified healthcare professional if I have any concerns about my ability to engage in physical activities.
6. Emergency Medical Treatment:
In the event of an injury or medical emergency, I authorize CrossFit Paratus and its representatives to seek and obtain necessary medical treatment on my behalf. I understand that I will be responsible for any medical expenses incurred.
7. Governing Law:
This Waiver shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any legal action or proceeding arising out of or related to this Waiver shall be venued in the courts of England and Wales.
