Terms & Conditions
1. Membership
1.1. Your membership will begin on the day you join.
1.2. Your membership is personal to you. You cannot transfer it to another person.
1.3. If ClashFit Training or the bank/building society makes a mistake with your Direct Debit payment you will be issued a full and immediate refund to your bank/building society.
1.4. Your membership will continue to roll on after the end of your initial term, unless you contact to ClashFit Training via email (info@clashfit.co.uk), giving at least 30 days’ notice.
2. Fees
2.1. You must pay a monthly membership which will be determined by your selected membership option.
2.2. Monthly instalments will be due on the 1st of each calendar month or the next working day by Direct Debit.
2.3. Monthly fees are payable even if you do not use our service.
2.4. Down payments and Direct Debit Fees are non-refundable.
2.5. Any missed payments fees are to be cleared in full before returning/booking to any class.
2.6. Any missed payments will result in restricted access to any of our classes.
3. Cancelling Your Membership
3.1. Memberships cannot be cancelled prior to the agreed contract length that you have signed up for and the last payment has been made. A contract may be cancelled once the final payment has been made; this requires 30 days’ notice in writing to ClashFit Training (e-mail info@clashfit.co.uk). A confirmation E-mail will be sent back.
3.2. If unable to train due to medical reasons, a doctor’s certificate will need to be provided.
4. Changing the Agreement
4.1. We can change the agreement at any time. We will give you 14 days’ notice of this change in writing at the address you have given us.
5. Junior Members and Children
5.1. If you are under 18 years old your parent or guardian must sign this agreement on your behalf. By signing this agreement your parent or guardian agrees to be responsible for your behaviour and actions at all times and to pay us any amounts that are due on your behalf.
5.2. When you reach 18 years old your junior membership will terminate, and you will immediately become a full adult member and will require signing a new copy of this agreement.
6. General
6.1. Members shall give written notice to ClashFit Training of any changes of address.
6.2. ClashFit Training reserves the right to refuse admission.
6.3. All members are asked to wear the appropriate form of dress.
6.4. Alcohol, drugs or smoking are not permitted in and around any training area or facilities used by ClashFit Training and Surrey Martial Arts Club.
6.5. ClashFit Training or Surrey Martial Arts Club reserves the right to expel any member whose conduct is such as shall, in its opinion, be injurious to the character of ClashFit Training or Surrey Martial Arts Club or be detrimental to the interest of its other members. Any member expelled shall forfeit all privileges to ClashFit Training services, use of Surrey Martial Arts Club facilities and all rights against ClashFit Training or Surrey Martial Arts Club, and shall not be entitled to any repayment of his/her starter payment or month’s Direct Debit for the period during which he/she is expelled.
6.6. ClashFit Training normal classes and the hours in which any facilities within Surrey Martial Arts Club are available to members are obtained from the directors upon requests. Such hours may be lengthened or shortened at the absolute discretion of ClashFit Training or Surrey Martial Arts Club with or without any prior notice being given to members. ClashFit Training and Surrey Martial Arts Club shall endeavour to give reasonable notice of any lengthening or shortening of such hours and of when any classes or facilities may not be available. Trainers/Coaches may also vary from time to time without prior notice.
6.7. ClashFit Training reserves the right to change the address of the business without any prior notice being given to members.
7. Limitation of Liability
7.1. ClashFit Training and Surrey Martial Arts Club cannot be held responsible for any services or equipment available for whatever reason. ClashFit Training and Surrey Martial Arts Club reserves the right to make reasonable alterations to the type of facilities provided, without notice, to its absolute discretion. ClashFit Training and Surrey Martial Arts Club shall not be liable for any loss occasioned by such alterations.
7.2. It is the user’s responsibility to ensure that he/she is capable of undergoing the normal routine of exercises provided by the programme of classes and equipment available at ClashFit Training. Not all exercises are suitable for everyone and any exercise programme/class/activity may result in injury. Members accept the risk of injury from participating in any and all classes and from performing any exercises at ClashFit Training and Surrey Martial Arts Club.
7.3. In the interest of safety, no glass water bottle, jar or drinking glass may be taken into the exercise areas or changing areas. Furthermore, members are asked not to bring bags into the exercise areas.
7.4. ClashFit Training and Surrey Martial Arts Club does not accept responsibility for any items and / or personal belongings left on the premises.
7.5. ClashFit Training and Surrey Martial Arts Club accepts no responsibility for loss or any damage to property of members or guests, nor for injury to members or guests on Surrey Martial Arts Club premises or in the car park in so far as such loss, damage or injury is by law capable of exclusion.
