By signing this waiver, I hereby confirm that I wish to participate in the exercise and training program offered by Principal Athletic Limited (“Principal”) and understand the risks inherent of participating in a program of strenuous exercise.

I understand that participation in physical exercise, including but not limited to weight training, cardiovascular exercise, and stretching, may involve inherent risks, including injuries, heart-related events, or other health complications.

I agree that Principal shall not be liable or responsible for any injuries to me resulting from my participation in the fitness program (whether at home, at the training studio, outdoors, or at a corporate, commercial, residential or other fitness facility) or during any of the other services offered, and I expressly release and discharge Principal and its owners, employees, agents and/or assigns, from all claims, actions, judgements and the like which I or my heirs, executors, administrators or assigns may have or claim to have as a result of any injury or other damage which may occur in connection with my participation in the fitness program, excepting only an injury caused by the gross negligence or intentional act of such person or persons.

I understand that I am not obligated to perform nor participate in any activity that I do not wish to do, and that it is my right to refuse such participation at any time during my training sessions.

I understand that should I feel light-headed, faint, dizzy, nauseated, or experience pain or discomfort, I will stop the activity immediately and inform Principal.

I understand that the usage of any nutritional supplements is done under my own will.

I understand that Principal may photograph and/or film their client events/sessions and I agree to allow them to use these pictures, films, and/or likenesses of me for promotional purposes. In the event I choose not to allow the use of the same for said purpose, I agree that I must inform Principal of this in writing.

I have read and understood the contents of this waiver and hereby agree with its terms and conditions.

If any provision of this waiver is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

Membership Terms and Conditions
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your membership with Principal Athletic Limited ("Principal"). By signing up for membership, and using the facilities and services provided by Principal, you agree to abide by these Terms at all times.
1. Membership Types and Fees
1.1 Membership Options:
Unlimited membership (access to all classes)
3x/week membership (access to all classes, maximum 3x a week)
Founding membership (12 months)
1.2 Payment Terms:
All membership fees must be paid in advance via Direct Debit.
Payment failures may result in membership suspension.
1.3 Fee Adjustments:
Principal reserves the right to adjust membership fees with 30 days’ notice to members.
2. Cancellation and Refunds
2.1 Cooling-Off Period:
Members may cancel their membership within 14 days of the start date for a full refund.
2.2 Ongoing Cancellations:
Monthly memberships may be cancelled with 30 days’ written notice.
Annual memberships are non-refundable unless exceptional circumstances apply (e.g., medical issues), at Principal’s discretion.
2.3 Suspensions:
Memberships may be temporarily paused by the member for reasons such as medical conditions, subject to satisfactory proof being provided, at Principal’s discretion.
3. Gym Access and Rules
3.1 Opening Hours:
Members can access Principal during designated opening hours only.
3.2 Conduct:
Be kind, be cool. Respect everyone in the gym including staff and other members – we’re all here for the same thing, to get fit, get hench and have a good time.
Aggressive or disruptive behaviour will not be tolerated and may result in termination of membership.
All equipment must be used as instructed. Members are responsible for reporting damage or misuse.
Look after the equipment, don’t drop empty barbells and don’t drop loaded barbells from above waist height. Never drop dumbbells and kettlebells.
Wipe down the equipment after you’ve finished, especially if you’re sweaty!
Put equipment back after you’re done with it. Equipment should not be taken from the gym without Principal’s consent.
Share the love – don’t hog all the kit e.g. don’t use 5s and 10s when you can use 15s
Bring a towel and clean up after yourself.
Clothing – wear comfy clothes and the correct footwear!
Keep your bags off the floor and in the designated cubby holes on the gym floor or coffee area.

Warm up, cool down. Your body will thank you. Don’t skip it – even if it’s just a quick stretch.
Leave your ego at the door and know your limits – progress takes time and good technique and safety comes first.
No bad vibes. This is a judgment-free zone. We’re here to build each other up, not tear each other down.
Have fun. The gym is your space to feel great, make friends, and smash your goals. Enjoy it!
3.3 Parking
Members are required to park in designated parking spaces for use by Principal patrons only, and not to block or obscure other local businesses parking spaces. Members are required to follow Principal’s instructions with regards to parking at all times.
4. Health and Safety
4.1 Health Declaration:
Members confirm they are in good health and fit to participate in exercise programs by signing the Principal Athletic Liability Waiver and Principal Athletic Health Questionnaire.
4.2 Injuries:
Principal is not liable for injuries unless caused by gross negligence.
4.3 Personal Belongings:
Principal is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal property.
4.4 Medical Emergencies:
In case of an emergency, members should inform staff immediately.
5. Liability Waiver
By signing up for membership, members agree to the terms of the Liability Waiver, which is a separate document provided during registration.
6. Data Protection
6.1 GDPR Compliance:
Principal processes personal data in line with UK GDPR regulations.
6.2 Communication:
Members consent to being contacted regarding their membership, services, and promotions.
7. Termination by Principal
Principal may terminate membership for reasons including but not limited to:
Violation of these Terms.
Non-payment of fees.
Failing to follow Principal’s instructions.
8. Amendments to Terms and Conditions
Principal reserves the right to update these Terms with 30 days’ notice. Members will be informed of changes via email.
9. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed exclusively by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of England and Wales.
