Waiver
Activities at CrossFit Disruption (BBCF Ltd) may include but are not limited to: lifting objects of varying weights, gymnastics, running, jumping, pulling, throwing, and intense cardiovascular activities:
1. I hereby acknowledge that use of the gym facilities and equipment, participation in the classes, and in the training provided at CrossFit Disruption (BBCF Ltd) exposes me to inherent risks which can include accidents, falls, illness, injury or even death.
2. I agree to use the equipment provided by CrossFit Disruption (BBCF Ltd) for its intended use in a safe and responsible manner, I will obey the instructions of representatives of CrossFit Disruption (BBCF Ltd) and all posted signs.
3. I confirm that I know of no medical, physical or mental reasons why I would not be capable of performing the physical activity in which I choose to participate at CrossFit Disruption (BBCF Ltd). I acknowledge my responsibility in communicating to a staff member prior to commencing activity, any physical and/or mental concerns affecting me which could conflict with participation in my chosen gym activities.
4. I assume all risks of injuries associated with use of CrossFit Disruption (BBCF Ltd) and its facilities including, but not limited to falls, contact with other participants, exercises and techniques taught to me by trainers employed by or providing services for CrossFit Disruption (BBCF Ltd) and all other risks being known and appreciated by me.
5. Having read this waiver and knowing these facts, in consideration of accepting my use of the gym facilities and of services provided to me at CrossFit Disruption (BBCF Ltd) I agree to Hold Harmless, Waive and Release CrossFit Disruption (BBCF Ltd), its directors, employees, representatives, anyone else providing a service at CrossFit Disruption (BBCF Ltd) and successors from any responsibility, liabilities, demands or claims of any kind arising out of my use of facilities at CrossFit Disruption (BBCF Ltd) or out of my participation in training, classes or anything else organised by or on behalf of CrossFit Disruption (BBCF Ltd).

CCTV Policy Statement
1. CCTV Policy Statement
It is the objective of CrossFit Disruption (BBCF Ltd.) to ensure that where CCTV is installed, it is managed in an appropriate way adhering to all relevant Acts and Regulations. This policy sets out how CrossFit Disruption (BBCF Ltd.) manages CCTV in line with current legislation.
CrossFit Disruption (BBCF Ltd.) has in place a CCTV surveillance system “the CCTV system” in the main gym and outside the front door/shutter. This policy details the purpose, use and management of the CCTV system at CrossFit Disruption (BBCF Ltd.) and details the procedures to be followed in order to ensure that CrossFit Disruption (BBCF Ltd.) complies with relevant legislation and the current Information Commissioner’s Office Code of Practice.
CrossFit Disruption (BBCF Ltd.) will have due regard to the Data Protection Act 2018, and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) 2018 and any subsequent data protection legislation, and to the Freedom of Information Act 2000, the Protection of Freedoms Act 2012 and the Human Rights Act 1998. Although not a relevant authority, CrossFit Disruption (BBCF Ltd.) will also have due regard to the Surveillance Camera Code of Practice, issued under the Protection of Freedoms Act 2012 and in particular the 12 guiding principles contained therein.
The CCTV system is owned or operated by CrossFit Disruption (BBCF Ltd.), Unit 26, Cottage Lane Industrial Estate, Swannington Road, LE9 6TU and managed by CrossFit Disruption (BBCF Ltd.) and its appointed staff. Under the Data Protection Act 2018 CrossFit Disruption (BBCF Ltd.) is the ‘data controller’ for the images produced by the CCTV system. The CCTV system is operated in line with the requirements of the Data Protection Act and the Information Commissioner’s Guidance.
2. Purposes of the CCTV System
The principal purposes of the CCTV system are as follows:
• For the prevention, reduction, detection and investigation of crime and other incidents
• To ensure the safety of staff, contractors and members of the public
• To assist in the investigation into suspected breaches of policies and procedures by staff, contractors and members of the public
• To aid the monitoring and enforcement of traffic related matters
The CCTV system will be used as a surveillance mechanism in order to identify incidents requiring a response. Any response should be proportionate to the incident being witnessed.
CrossFit Disruption (BBCF Ltd.) seeks to operate its CCTV system in a manner that is consistent with respect for the individual’s privacy.
3. Monitoring and Recording
Cameras are monitored via an app which only the owners of CrossFit Disruption (BBCF Ltd.) have access to.
All images recorded by the CCTV System remain the property and copyright of CrossFit Disruption (BBCF Ltd.).
4. Applications for Disclosure of Images
Requests by individual data subjects for images relating to themselves “Subject Access Request” should be submitted in writing to the owners, with proof of identification to info@crossfitdisruption.com.
In order to locate the images on CrossFit Disruption (BBCF Ltd.) CCTV system, sufficient detail must be provided by the data subject in order to allow the relevant images to be located and the data subject to be identified.
Where disclosure of CCTV images is necessary, details must be recorded that include:
• Date and time of incident
• Date images were released
• Details of who images were released to (name of individual and the organisation they represent)
• Why images are required
• A signature of the person taking the images
• A signature of the person releasing the images
5. Access to and Disclosure of Images to Third Parties
A request for images made by a third party should be made in writing to the “Data Controller” (owners of CrossFit Disruption (BBCF Ltd.)).
In limited circumstances it may be appropriate to disclose images to a third party, such as when a disclosure is required by law, in relation to the prevention or detection of crime, or in other circumstances where an exemption applies under relevant legislation.
Such disclosures will be made at the discretion of the “Data Controller”, with reference to relevant legislation.
6. Complaints Procedure
Complaints concerning Freedom Leisure use of its CCTV system or the disclosure of CCTV images should be made in writing to the “Data Controller”.
