Important Notice
Whitehart CrossFit classes are physically demanding and carry inherent risks that cannot be entirely eliminated. These include the risk of personal injury, illness, or, in rare cases, death.
By signing this document, you acknowledge and agree that you understand these risks and are voluntarily choosing to participate.
Your Responsibilities
* You must act responsibly and sensibly at all times.
* You must not participate if you are under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or any medication that may impair your ability to exercise safely.
* You must follow all safety instructions and coaching advice given by our staff. If anything is unclear, please ask before continuing.
* If you are pregnant, have a medical condition, or have recently been injured, you must inform us before taking part in any class or open gym session.
* We are not qualified to determine your medical fitness. You are responsible for confirming with your doctor or healthcare provider that you are fit to participate in CrossFit and other exercise activities.
In the absence of any negligence or other breach of duty by us, participation in classes is entirely at your own risk.
Use of Equipment
You are responsible for using all gym equipment safely and as instructed. Misuse or failure to follow guidance may result in injury.
In the absence of any negligence or other breach of duty by us, your use of the gym’s machinery, equipment, or facilities is entirely at your own risk.
Photos and Videos
We may take photos or videos during classes or events for marketing and social media purposes. By signing this waiver, you consent to the use of your image for these purposes.
If you do not wish to appear in any photos or videos, please inform a coach at the time, and we will ensure your preference is respected.
Loss or Damage to Property
In the absence of any negligence or other breach of duty by us, Whitehart CrossFit is not responsible for any theft, damage, or loss of personal property while you are using our facilities.
Membership Terms and Termination
If you take out a membership with us:
* You may pause or cancel your membership by giving a minimum of two (2) weeks’ written notice before your next billing date.
* Membership pauses are subject to a £10 per month administration fee, which allows us to retain your member records and current membership details on our system.
* Pauses must be for a minimum period of three (3) months unless there are extenuating circumstances.
* During a pause, your account remains active but access to classes and open gym will be suspended.
* If you cancel your membership, your details may be removed from our system. Should you choose to rejoin in the future, you may be subject to current membership rates at that time, which may differ from your previous rate.
* Whitehart CrossFit reserves the right to review and adjust membership pricing periodically. A pause does not guarantee a permanent freeze of your rate.
* If you are unable to attend for medical reasons, you may request a medical pause. Proof from a healthcare professional may be required, but in such cases, the pause fee and notice period will be waived.
Release of Liability
By signing below, you release and discharge Whitehart CrossFit, its owners, coaches, employees, and representatives from any and all claims, demands, damages, or legal actions arising out of or connected with your participation in classes, open gym sessions, or events.
