NORDIC CYCLE - ICE BATH USE WAIVER & RELEASE OF LIABILITY

IMPORTANT - PLEASE READ CAREFULLY
Use of the ice bath facilities at Nordic Cycle involves exposure to extreme cold temperatures. While
this may provide health and recovery benefits, it also carries inherent risks that all users must
understand and accept before participating.
ASSUMPTION OF RISK
I acknowledge that cold water immersion (ice baths) may cause physical stress, including but not
limited to:
- Cold shock response
- Rapid breathing or hyperventilation
- Cardiovascular strain (increased heart rate, blood pressure changes)
- Muscle cramps or reduced coordination
- Numbness or loss of sensation
- Aggravation of underlying health conditions
I voluntarily choose to participate in the use of the ice bath and assume all associated risks.
MEDICAL RESPONSIBILITY
I confirm that:

- I am in good health and do not have any known medical condition that could be worsened by cold
exposure.
- I have disclosed any relevant health concerns to gym staff before use.
- I understand that Nordic Cycle staff are not medical professionals and cannot assess my fitness to
participate.
If I experience any dizziness, discomfort, or unusual symptoms, I agree to exit the ice bath and
notify staff immediately.
USE GUIDELINES
I agree to follow all safety rules and guidelines provided, including:
- Limiting immersion time (recommended 1-3 minutes per session)
- Entering and exiting slowly to prevent slipping or shock
- Never using the ice bath alone or while under the influence of drugs/alcohol
- Wearing appropriate swimwear
RELEASE OF LIABILITY
In consideration of being permitted to use the ice bath facilities, I hereby waive, release, and
discharge Nordic Cycle and its affiliates, employees, contractors, and the gym property from any
and all claims, actions, or damages arising out of my participation. This release includes but is not
limited to personal injury, illness, property loss, or death.
