Use of Training and Fitness facilities
Our aim is to make you feel better, and we try to make this as much fun as possible. We know
that everyone has different aims, levels of skill, tolerance and fitness. Every moment you
spend with one of our qualified team is designed to focus on your needs. By your use of the
gym or fitness equipment you will be confirming you have read and agreed to these Rules of
Use
Only qualified instructors will set you an exercise programme and inform you the correct
method of using the equipment and the Gym’s facilities.
During our set training sessions our instructors and staff members will be available to
monitor, advise and assist you in the correct use of the equipment and the Gym’s facilities.
WAIVER
IF YOU DECIDE TO USE THE EQUIPMENT AND THE GYM’S FACILITIES OUTSIDE THE TIME OF AN
ALLOCATED TRAINING SESSION, OR SUCH OTHER TIME AS NO MEMBER OF STAFF IS PRESENT,
UNLESS YOU ARE NOTIFIED OTHERWISE YOU MAY STILL USE THE EQUIPMENT AND THE GYM’S
FACILITIES YET DO SO AT YOUR OWN RISK, YOU AGREE TO WAIVE ANY RIGHTS OF COMPENSATION
AGAINST CROSSFIT258, IT’S OWNERS, INSTRUCTORS AND STAFF MEMBERS, AND AGREE YOU
WILL LIMIT YOUR USAGE OF THE FACILITIES TO USE THAT:
WILL NOT RISK INJURY TO OTHERS, AND
WILL NOT BE LIKELY TO CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE EQUIPMENT OR THE GYM’S FACILITIES.
Rules of Use of Gym
1. If you have concerns about your physical condition, you must not do strenuous
physical activities without first getting medical advice.
2. To make sure you get the most from every activity that you do at the Gym in the safest
possible way, you should always make sure that you warm up properly and take time
to cool down after your activity.
3. You should not take part in any physical activity that you may not be fit for. You are
responsible for monitoring your own condition during physical activity.
4. You should tell a Staff Member or on-duty instructor when you join about anything
that is relevant to your physical condition. You should continue to keep this
information up to date throughout your on-going use of the Gym.
5. You are responsible for monitoring your own physical condition. If you suffer any
unusual symptoms, you must immediately stop the activity and inform a duty
instructor or any other member of staff at the Gym.

Photographs and videos
You may take photographs and video recordings in your centre for your
own personal use provided that you keep to these rules and any extra
rules displayed at the premises.
You must not take photographs or videos of any children other than
your own.
Anyone who appears in your photographs or videos must be aware that
you are filming them and you must get their permission first.
You must not take photographs or video recordings in a changing area,
viewing area, Yoga or exercise area, toilet, or anywhere that specifies
devices are not permitted.
If another member is unhappy that you are filming them and makes a
complaint to us, we may ask you to show us any images which you have
taken in the centre and to delete them if appropriate. If a member of
our team asks you to stop filming or taking photographs you must do so.
