Coastal Fitness Deal Ltd - Coastal Fitness Waiver

COASTAL FITNESS MEMBER WAIVER AND RELEASE OF LIABILITY

IMPORTANT - PLEASE READ CAREFULLY BEFORE SIGNING

By signing this waiver, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the terms below.

1. Voluntary Participation

I understand that participation in fitness activities at Coastal Fitness, including but not limited to strength training, functional fitness, CrossFit-style workouts, weightlifting, cardiovascular training, mobility and conditioning work, involves inherent risks including (but not limited to) muscle strains, sprains, falls, collisions, or more serious injuries.
I confirm that I am voluntarily choosing to participate in these activities and accept all risks involved.

2. Medical Clearance

I confirm that I am in good physical health and able to participate in physical activity.

I have disclosed any relevant medical conditions or injuries to the coaching team.

I understand that it is my responsibility to consult with a medical professional if I have any concerns about my ability to exercise.

If my health status changes, I will inform Coastal Fitness before taking part in further activities.

3. Assumption of Risk

I understand that while all reasonable precautions will be taken, injury is still possible, and I accept full responsibility for any injury, loss, or damage I may sustain while on the premises or participating in any Coastal Fitness activities (including outdoor sessions, events, or competitions).

4. Release of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, I hereby release, waive, and discharge Coastal Fitness, its owners, directors, coaches, employees, contractors, volunteers, and affiliates from any and all liability for injury, loss, or damage arising from my participation, except in cases of proven negligence or unlawful acts.

5. Use of Premises & Equipment

I agree to:

Follow all gym rules, coaching instructions, and safety guidance.

Use equipment responsibly and report any damage or malfunction immediately.

Respect the space and other members at all times.

6. Personal Belongings

I understand that Coastal Fitness is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal property.

7. Photography & Media Consent

I consent to Coastal Fitness capturing photographs and/or video footage during sessions which may be used for marketing and promotional purposes (e.g. social media, website).

I understand I can withdraw this consent at any time in writing.

8. Data Protection

Coastal Fitness will collect and store your personal information securely in line with UK GDPR requirements. Your information will not be shared with third parties without your consent, except where required by law.

9. Acknowledgement

I have read and understood this waiver. I understand that by signing, I am waiving certain legal rights. I sign voluntarily and agree to abide by Coastal Fitness rules and guidance.

I take full responsibility for my participation and release Coastal Fitness from any claims except in cases of proven negligence
