Immerse Gyms Membership Terms and Conditions
These Terms and Conditions apply to all members of Immerse Gyms. By joining or using the gym, classes, coaching services, or related facilities, you agree to these terms.
1. Membership
• Membership is personal to you and cannot be transferred to another person.
• You must provide accurate and complete information when joining.
• You are responsible for keeping your contact and health details up to date.
• Some memberships may be subject to a minimum membership term.
2. Membership Types and Payments
• Membership fees are payable in advance and at the rate agreed at the point of joining.
• Memberships renew automatically unless cancelled in line with these terms.
• If your membership includes a minimum term, you remain responsible for payments during that period unless otherwise agreed by Immerse Gyms.
• Failure to make payment on time may result in suspension or cancellation of access.
• Immerse Gyms reserves the right to amend membership prices on reasonable notice with annual price reviews applicable to all members.
3. Access and Use
• Members must use the gym, equipment, and facilities safely and responsibly.
• You must follow all staff instructions, gym rules, signage, and safety guidance.
• Access may be restricted, suspended, or withdrawn if your conduct creates a health and safety risk or breaches these terms.
• Opening hours, class timetables, and available services may change from time to time.
• From 1 April 2026, gym access may include 24/7 access where applicable to your membership.
4. Health and Safety
• You must complete any required health questionnaire, PAR-Q, waiver, or consent form before participating.
• By using the facilities, you confirm that you are physically able to take part or have obtained appropriate medical advice.
• You must stop exercising immediately if you feel unwell, dizzy, faint, or experience pain or discomfort.
• You must inform Immerse Gyms of any change to your health or medical condition that may affect safe participation.
• Immerse Gyms may refuse or limit participation where there are reasonable health and safety concerns.
5. Classes, Coaching and Bookings
• Classes, PT sessions, small group sessions, and specialist coaching may require advance booking.
• Booked sessions may be subject to separate cancellation or no-show rules.
• Immerse Gyms reserves the right to change instructors, class formats, session times, or programme content where reasonably necessary.
6. Member Conduct
Members must:
• treat staff, coaches, and other members with respect
• use equipment properly and return it after use
• wear suitable clothing and footwear
• maintain good hygiene and wipe down equipment where requested
• not behave in a threatening, abusive, reckless, or inappropriate manner
• not use the gym while under the influence of alcohol or non-prescribed drugs
Any serious or repeated breach may result in suspension or termination of membership.
7. Personal Belongings
• Personal belongings are brought onto the premises at your own risk.
• Immerse Gyms accepts no responsibility for loss, theft, or damage to personal property unless caused by negligence that cannot lawfully be excluded.
8. Liability
• Exercise and physical activity involve inherent risks.
• Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot legally be excluded under UK law.
• Subject to the above, Immerse Gyms shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the facilities or services.
9. Freezes, Cancellations and Termination
• Any request to freeze or cancel membership must be made in accordance with the membership agreement or as otherwise confirmed by Immerse Gyms.
• Minimum term memberships cannot be cancelled early unless required by law.
• Immerse Gyms may cancel or suspend membership where fees remain unpaid or where these terms are breached.
10. Data Protection
• Immerse Gyms will process your personal data in accordance with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
• Personal and health information may be used for membership administration, bookings, health and safety, emergency contact, insurance, safeguarding, and legal compliance.
• Further details about how your data is used should be set out in your privacy notice or sign-up documentation.
11. Changes to Services or Terms
• Immerse Gyms may make reasonable changes to facilities, services, class schedules, coaches, opening hours, and these terms where necessary for business, operational, legal, or safety reasons.
• The latest version of these terms will apply once communicated to members.
12. General
• If any part of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply.
• These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
